With the help from organisations such as Barratt and David Wilson Homes, it makes a huge difference to what we can offer to families and the children we support.

“The Children’s Heart Association is here to help, and we’d like to encourage anyone who needs the help to reach out.

“Without the kind donations from local businesses, we would not be able to provide these activities for our young people and their families.”

Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ donation was made via The Barratt Foundation, which is designed to support national and local charities across the UK to leave a legacy in the communities in which the housebuilder operates.

The Children’s Heart Association opened its doors 50 years ago and provided a basic level of support for families and children, alleviating some of the stresses and challenges.

It offers an service for parents and families of children living with heart conditions. Run by volunteers and parents who have had their own experiences with heart conditions, the team offer lived experience and provide a support system for new families and children.
