Garden Gopher to get the Dragons drooling!
 |
| SMART MOVE: Rachel with her invention |
WIRRAL entrepreneur Rachel Price appears in the next episode of BBC2's hit show Dragon's Den with her unique garden invention this week.
Dragons' Den is a popular series in which entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to secure investment finance from the dragons' - elite business entrepreneurs.
The dragons are notoriously tough and viewers will be able to see Rachel successfully fight her corner with the aim of securing £150,000 investment for her garden workstation invention, the Garden Gopher, this Thursday.
Rachel, a keen gardener who lives in Caldy with her husband Tom and children Lauren and Jack, decided to develop the Garden Gopher after realising the need to make gardening easier.
She designed and produced a multi-functional garden trolley, which quite literally is a portable garden shed. The product is now also exported to four different European countries.

The market-leading design is priced from £49.99 and is already appearing in major high street retailers.
To continue to develop the Garden Gopher range, Rachel will be seen asking the dragons' for a further £150,000 to develop new accessories for the workstation.
Rachel said: "This is a unique opportunity for the dragons to support a product that has already been designed, produced and launched. Most people on the show are presenting inventions that haven't been further developed from the prototype stage.
"There is nothing else like it in the market and with major high street contracts already under my belt, I can even prove that it sells!"
You can watch Rachel's successful presentation in the Dragon's Den on BBC 2, this Thursday, at 9pm.
