Wirral people are being asked to be brave this year to help arthritis sufferers.
Medical research charity, the Arthritis Research Campaign is organising a 200-ft abseil down the north face of Liverool's Liver Building on the weekend of June 21/22 this year.
“This really is a great opportunity to abseil down one of Liverpool’s most famous and iconic landmarks.

The group is looking for more than 100 daredevils to take part and help raise funds for research, much of which is taking place on the doorstep in Liverpool.
Arc's area appeals manager Ruth Owen said: "This really is a great opportunity to abseil down one of Liverpool's most famous and iconic landmarks.
"We feel very privileged to be able to offer such an exciting event this year and are very grateful to the Royal Liver Group for their support."
Abseilers are being asked to raise £200 each in sponsorship in support of the charity.
If the Royal Liver Building abseil sounds too daunting, then Ruth can offer a tamer event, just 120ft down Devil's Gorge in Loggerheads Country Park near Mold in North Wales.
This will take place on Sunday, June 8, and is perfect for beginners.
All profits from both abseils will be invested in research and educational work to find the cause and a cure for arthritic conditions. and continue to make Anyone interested in abseiling can contact Ruth Owen now for a free information pack on 01492 516417, 07736 157800 or email r.owen@arc.org.uk.
