WIRRAL Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team has secured multiple orders against four people from Seacombe following alleged attacks on a neighbouring family.

Action was taken by the team on behalf of landlord Wirral Partnership Homes, initially against husband and wife, Eric and Kelsie Robinson of Oakdale Road, Seacombe. It followed an attack on a neighbouring family's home after which Eric Robinson was convicted of an offence of affray in February.

Due to alleged harassment against the neighbours by Robinson,41, and his wife 28, interim anti-social behaviour orders were obtained against the couple without their knowledge.

Following the service of the orders further alleged incidents occurred involving their associates and immediate applications were made for orders against Wirral Partnership Homes' tenant, Joanne Worrall, 35, and private resident Edward Cleary, 19. Interim anti-social behaviour orders were obtained against Worrall of Vernon Avenue, Seacombe, and Cleary of Ashville Road, Seacombe, on February 22, 2006, without their knowledge.

The family allegedly subjected to the attacks fled their home and were relocated.

At Birkenhead County Court last week Eric Robinson, Kelsie Robinson and Joanne Worrall gave legal undertakings not to approach, harass or threaten members of the victim family.

Eric Robinson, a Wirral Partnership Homes' tenant, was also issued with a possession order postponed on condition that he does not approach, harass or threaten to harass any members of the victim family, whether by himself or instructing or encouraging any other person.

At the hearing, the interim anti-social behaviour order against Cleary, who was not legally represented, was renewed. Cleary is banned from using threatening, abusive or insulting language within the hearing of another person; using or threatening violence towards any person; acting in a drunken and disorderly manner and causing or threatening to cause damage to any property owned or occupied by the victim family. A further hearing has been listed for October 31, 2006 at Birkenhead County Court.

The undertakings given by Eric & Kelsie Robinson and Joanne Worrall remain in force until September 29, 2007. If breached, it could result in a term of imprisonment of up to two years.

The possession order against Eric Robinson remains in force until September 29, 2008. If the terms of the order are breached, Robinson faces eviction from his home.
